Bobby Spaeth

Executive Director

Born in St. Petersburg Florida Raised and lived in Madeira Beach his whole life. Graduate of Florida State University. Always had a passion for commercial fishing. Bobby's experience range from cleaning boats, Deck Hand, Captain, boat owner and seafood dealer. Through the last 30 years as executive director of the southern offshore fishing association Bobby has been involved in many regulatory issues affecting the livelihood of our fishermen and continues with his passion.

Fishery Management Consultant

Bob will be keeping our member and information on issues affecting our fisheries. Sofa members catch approximately one-half of the Grouper Tile Fish IFQ. We are working with the councils to resolve fishery issues.
